Term 3 Lava Flows: wrapping up the unit this week -

HW027 Plate Boundary homework worksheet: pass in back file bin by Thursday (Students started in class).

HW028 Continental Drift vs. Sea Floor Spreading: Create a Venn Diagram comparing/contrasting the two theories on page 86 of your ISN. Due Friday 3/31/17.

HW029 Read CK12 sections on the Rock Cycle by Monday

NOTE: Students have been provided with a day to day syllabus style chart of all work, due dates, expectations, resources, and extension activities.

Honors/Advanced students should be reading CK-12’s Real World articles on the Abyss and San Andreas Fault, accompanied by videos including SciShow about James Cameron’s dive in Challenger Deep.

Note about CK12 assignments: You only have to answer questions for the two reading/video assignment on Sea Floor Spreading and Wegener. The third assignment is a PLIX activity. I received automatic notification when you completed it. Nicely done!
