Good evening !
Unfortunately, I was instructed to cancel the Easter Party by Mr. Klice because of the poor behavior of my 6th grade class during lunch time today.
I was informed of this today. Mr Klice had come into our classroom and spoke to my class and as punishment, he instructed me to cancel the party.

Good evening everyone !
Last week was an extremely busy week indeed. The ELA's are over and so is the 3rd quarter.
Report cards will be distributed on Thursday, April 6th.
Parent/ Teacher Conferences will be on Monday, April 10th from 12:45 - 3:00 p.m.. There will not be any evening hours for the conference.
Any student who needs to make up any part of the ELA exam, will do so this week.
We will be having a Social Studies quiz on the Han Dynasty this week.
Also, there will be a Science quiz this week.
I am going to give a Easter party for my sixth grade sometime next week. I will be having juices, bottled water and cupcakes. If your child would like to bring something, please have him/her check with me.

Good afternoon all,
Please note that the English Language Arts assessments be given out next week for grades 6 - 8. Make-ups will be given on Monday, April 3rd.
It's been a busy week assessments wise. Next week I shall be giving only one exam in Religion on Friday, March 31st, which is also the end of the 3rd quarter. It will be on Unit 2. Unfortunately we were not able to take the exam this week. We have begun reviewing for the exam and will continue to do so this coming school week.
There will be a couple of take home worksheets in science and social studies just as ' buffers " to add to the students grades.
April 10th will be Parent/Teacher Conference.
Please note that there will only be afternoon hours this conference.

Spring is finally upon us. Thanks be to God !
We will be having a quiz on the Shang Dynasty Monday. It will be 10 questions. Each question will be worth 10 points each. Also, there will be another quiz later on in the week on the Zhou Dynasty as well. As mentioned previously, this is a very short quarter calendar wise and we must get in the same amount of assessments in as in other quarters. I've also given out a science assignment for my scholars to complete. It will be graded as a quiz. We've started the Cycle of the Cell in Science last week. Shortly we will be transitioning into Spring uniforms. I will announce in class and on schoolnotes when this time arrives.
Please ask your students to adhere to the dress codes and to come to school prepared with the necessary things needed to do work.
Also, please check to see that there homework assignments are being completed. This is an easy way to earn up to 11% on their grades.
I also handed out an extra credit assignment to help supplement my scholars grades in the last Science Unit exam. Only a hand full of my students took advantage of it. There was a deadline as to when it would be accepted and now that deadline is over. I am teaching my students life lessons as well and learning how to meet a deadline is an important tool to know in the workplace
The recess tutoring has also been stopped due to extremely low attendance. However, my students know that if they let me know ahead of time, we can meet in the morning at 7:30 if they needed extra help. Some of my students do take advantage of this.

Good evening parents and scholars !
As many of you know, my mother had been very ill for the past couple of weeks and she had finally succumb to her illnesses.
She passed away last Thursday night. My family buried her Monday morning following a High Mass. I shall be back tomorrow hitting the ground running. We shall continue where we left off and rest assured we will catch up on the work we missed. I'm sure that whoever covered for me during my absence did a fine job.
I want to take this time to thank all who prayed for my mother, my family and myself.
It is greatly appreciated !
Thanks to Mr. Klice and all the staff that attended the wake and also for the lovely spray of flowers. My family and I were deeply touched !
