Hello parents,
We will have a social studies quiz on pages 146 -149 on the Huang He and Chang Jiang rivers. It will be a ten question multiple choice quiz. There will also be an extra credit assignment in Science for all who choose to do it . This will hopefully raise some of their grades.
We will also be starting a new lesson in Science, Lesson 5. Some of my students' will be receiving a deficiency report that will be mailed out by the end of next week.

Good morning parents,
As promised, there will be a religion quiz on chapter 12 today.
It was announced to the class yesterday and we also reviewed for it as well.
Also, there will be a science exam on lesson 4 on Thursday.We are in the process of reviewing for it .
As mentioned, this is a short quarter and we have much work to cover in a short period of time. This also means that there will be assessments in a shorter period of time as well. I will do my best to keep the stress level down for our students by reviewing and trying not to schedule two assessments in one day.
In this quarter, we will have Parent/ Teacher Conferences. I hope that I will have the opportunity of meeting with many of you to discuss your student's progress.

Good afternoon,
We had many things going on at Nativity the past couple of weeks. The science projects for the most part were well done and Mr. Klice and I were very happy with them.
Also, we are going to continue and hopefully finish the presentation of our Black history Month projects. I'd like to hang up our students projects in our hallway on our
Wall of Stars. Our door and walls outside our classroom are beautifully decorated with our students many efforts. Please feel free to stop by and come see it.
There will be a science and religion exam this week. I will announce the specific days, topics and textbook pages once we have reviewed for them.
Unfortunately, I will have to discontinue the recess tutoring for Social Studies and Science due to very poor attendance.
As a reminder, the Black History month projects and the science projects will be graded as a full exam, so the better the project and effort, the better the grade will be.

Good morning all !
Unfortunately, I will have to cancel Science tutoring today. I have some unforeseen things that I must take care of during my lunch break. Sorry for any inconvenience.
But, don't worry, we will be reviewing for the exam today during Science class.

Hello,
There will be a Unit Social Studies exam on Friday, February 24th.
It will encompass all of Chapter 4 lessons 1-5.
The format was explained as well as the point values and we have reviewed for the exam as well.
There will be tutoring tomorrow during recess for science.
I may have to discontinue the tutoring because of lack of attendance.
