Today we read My Mm Book and did our letter Mm practice paper. Today we added writing words on our paper that begin with the Letter M. We also did Money rubs by placing coins underneath paper and rubbing over them with crayons until we saw the coin appear. We had fun using money to visit a candy shop. The children were given some coins and had to figure out how many gumballs they could buy. The gumballs cost 1 cent each.
We are conducting an experiment to see what will happen to a white hard-boiled egg when it sits in Soda overnight. We also have an egg soaking in water to see if any changes will occur to that one.
We had Spanish class today. Miss Vivi went over some colors with us in Spanish. We also sang some Spanish songs.

The children really enjoyed the puppet show today! The Delaware Children's Museum put on a great show about animals in winter. It was very fun, interesting and educational!
We also had gym class today with Miss Maddy. We played games with beanbags and music.
We worked on patterning with stickers and also letter and number recognition.

This week our theme is Dental Health. The letter for this week is Mm.
Today we had a special presentation from a Dental Hygienist. The children were good listeners as she spoke to us about the proper ways to care for our teeth. She gave us some helpful advice on how to prevent getting cavities in our teeth. Back in our classroom we practiced good brushing by using a toothbrush to paint a yellow tooth yellow. We also did some patterning activities with counting cubes.
We had outside recess today!
Reminder: Tomorrow is the Wake Up Mr. Bear Hibernation Puppet Show put on by the Natural History Museum.

We had a great time celebrating the 100 days of school! We visited all the classrooms in our school where we had special activities to do. We made 100 out of 2 cookies and graham cracker, dotted 100 gumballs, made a necklace with 100 fruit loops and decorated a poster with stickers. We read a book called Ms. Bindergarten celebrates the 100th Day of School.
We also had Spanish class today. Miss Vivi showed us a video about the vowel sounds in Spanish and went over with us the sounds for A, E, I, O, and U.

P.S. I forgot to say thank you last week for all the Valentines cards and treats! Miss Beth and I appreciate all the nice wishes we received :) And thanks for all the donations that made our party a success!
Today we read My Kk Book and did our Letter Kk practice paper. We also decorated a Large K with jewels and a crown to make a King. The children took their time and did a good job with this activity!
We had Chapel today, and Mr. Mike told us the story about Abraham and Sarah and how they had a child even though they were very old.
We had outside recess today on the playground!
Tomorrow we are celebrating the 100th day of School! Children who attend school on Mon. Wed. and Fri. are invited to attend. If you have a 100 piece puzzle at home, please send it in. We will return it to you.
