March 7-28, 2012
Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do 6 (six) journal entries. Read the 100 sight words as part of your daily reading.
Writing: 1.Write two sentences for each of your Spelling Words. 2. Write your Spelling Words in ABC order. 3. Write a story using all of your spelling words.
Math: 1. Write the numbers 1-100 once a week. (total of 3 times). 2. Write countinf by 2's, 5's, 10's once a week (total of 3 times each). 3. Practice our addition and subtraction facts daily. 4. Write the months and days of the week twice (2) a week.

Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Read your sight words as part of your reading. Do two(2) reading journal entries.
Writing: Write a story using all of your Spelling Words. Write spelling words 5x's each.
Math: Do math assignments on "Double-digit subtraction.
P.S. Many of the students have not paid their cooking/science project money $2.00. I have postponed our cooking/Science projects. Please send the amount due by Friday, March 2nd.

Writing: Write a sentence for each of your spelling words. Write your spelling words 5x's each. Do reading comprehension assignment "Jack's Bug".
Math: Do math assignments on Double-digit Subtraction with regoruping.
P.S. Cooking/science experiment money due by Friday, February 24th. Amount due $2.00. Please do not allow your child to bring any type of toys to school except for Mondays when it is "Show and Tell".

Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do two reading journal entries. Read 100 sight words as part of your reading time.
Math: Do assignment on Double-digit subtraction with regrouping.
Writing:Make up 20 words from the words: Happy Valentine's Day. Then write a sentence for each of the words you came up with. Circle the nouns and underline the consonant digraphs that you find in each of your sentences. Write spelling words 5x's each.
P.S. Every Monday, our class will be having "Show and Tell" make sure that the item is no bigger than your child's pocket. Also, the other days students are not to bring any type of toys. I will confiscate them and not give them back until the last day of school. (June 9th)
