September 12-19, 2012
Reading: Read every night for 15 mins. Practice reading all your memory words every night. Dictation Test will be given sometime next week. Do (2)two reading journal entries per week.
Math: Do math assignments according to the day and turn it in on a daily basis.
Writing: Write a sentence for each memory word. (same words as last week) Write a story using most of your memory words given up to this week and circle them. Do writing assignments on synonyms, telling Parts of sentences and Telling Sentences.
*Scholastic book club orders due Friday, Sept. 14, 2012
*Cooking/science experiment money due Friday, Sept. 14, 2012

Reading: Read every night for 15 mins. Do two (2) reading journal entries per week. Make flashcards for the that have a star beside it. The ones that do not have a star you should already have flashcards. These memory words will be your words for two weeks.
Math: Do math assignments and turn it in on a daily basis according to the day.
Writing: Write a sentence for each memory word.

Writing: Write a complete sentence for each memory word. Circle the memory word or words that yuo used in each sentence. The word may be used more than once. *Paper has been provided in the packet.
Math: Do daily math assignments and turn it in on a daily basis.
P.S. If your child hasn't brought in his/her school supplies. Please do so, we have started to use them. Thanks, Mrs. Chavez :)
