Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do two reading journal entries per week.
Read new and old memory words on a daily basis. Make flashcards.

Memory Words: clean float heat keep seat train need scream rain reach toast feed

Writing: Write a sentence for each new memory word. Make new words by adding -ed, and -ing to each new memory word. Then underline the base/root word and circle the inflectional ending.

Math: Do your math assignments and turn them in on a daily basis. (Associative Property)

Memory Words: Same as last week.

Writing: 1) Write a telling and an asking sentence for each new memory word.
2) Write the new memory words in ABC order. 3) Circle the nouns and underline the verb of each of the sentences that you wrote.

Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do six (6) journal entries. Practice reading memory words. No new memory words given for the winter break.

Writing: Write 30 sentences. You choose the memory words that you want to use for the sentences. Then you circle the nouns of each sentence that you wrote and underline the verb. Remember a noun is a person, place, or thing. A verb is a word that shows action.
Math: Do the 30 math word problems. Circle the key word/s in each math problem to help you identify what to do either add or subtract.
