Reading: Read for 15 mins. every night. Do one reading journal entry per week. Practice reading all of your sight words as part of your daily reading.
Math: Do math assignments on Double-digit Addition and Subtraction.

Reading: Read for 15 mins. every night. Read your sight words as part of your reading time on a daily basis. Do one journal entry per week.
Sight words of the week:

*Make flashcards for the sight words of the week.
Math: Do math assignments on Addition Facts, Subtraction Facts and Place Value.
Reading Comprehension: Do assignment on real or fantasy "Mr. Lee's Store"
Language: Write 2 sets of 10 words that you are able to find inside or outside your home. Then write each set of words in alphabetical order (abc order).
Example:
Words Found: orange chair  tree  sofa  bird  water  towel  plant  tv  fish
ABC order:
1. bird 2. chair 3. fish
4. orange 5. plant 6. sofa
7. towel 8. tree 9. tv
10. water

Reading: Read every night for 15 mins. Make sure to include your sight words as part of your daily reading. Do one journal entry per week. Make flashcards for the following sight words and practice reading them every night.

P.S. Don't forget to start sending $2.00 for cooking/science experiment by Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010. Also make sure to send in Conference Time Sheet, it is on a first come first serve basis.

Reading: Read every night for 15 minutes. Do one reading journal entry per week. As part of your reading review your sight words. Make flashcards for the following sight words: so soon there too want well went what who will *These flashcards are to stay home and be practiced on a daily basis. Every student will be tested on them at the end of the quarter.
Math: Do math assignments on single-digit addition and subtraction, "Matching Numbers with objects" and "Numbers 11 through 20".
Reading Comprehension: "Classifying Objects" and "Classifying: Things to Chew", do both assignments.
Language: On the piece of paper provided write five asking sentences and five telling sentences. Then circle the letter that needs to be capitalized at all times in a sentence and the ending punctuation of each sentence.
