Math: Do math assignments on Double-digit Addition and Subtraction.

Reading: Read every night for 15 mins. Practice all of your sight words everyday. Make sure to include your new sight words. Do one reading journal per week. ( 3 reading journal entries will be due on March 30th).
Math: Practice addition and subtraction facts on a daily basis. Do math assignments on single and double-digit addition and subtraction, adding three numbers and on solving word problems.
Language: Do assignments on "What Did You Do?, "Days", "Before and After". Go over Blends Chart on a daily basis.

P.S. If your child hasn't paid his/her cooking/science experiment money please have it in by Friday, March 4th. We will be doing our projects the following week. Also, I am asking for donations of crayons, glue sticks and Kleenex. We are out of these items. Thank you for your support! Spring Break March 14-25, 2011.

Reading: Read every night for 15 mins. Make sure to practice reading your sight words on a daily basis and to make flashcards for the new sight words given on a weekly basis. Do one journal entry per week.
Math: Do math assignments on "Adding and Subtracting Three Addends" and "Double-digit Addition and Subtraction".
Language: Write a story about your favorite dessert such as cookies, chocolate or strawberry cake, cheesecake, etc. Once you are done go back and circle the long vowel sound words that you used and underline the blends. You may use your sight words.
