Reading:Read every night for 20 minutes. Do two (2) reading journal entries. Practice reading your 100 sight words on a daily basis.
Math: Do math assignments on double-digit addition
Writing: Write a story using the following words: chimp, frog, moon, banana, coconut, sings, kite, toad, robins, duck. Be creative and use your imagination.
P.S. Don't forget to send your donations. Also, please make sure your child is reading every night.

Writing: Write 5 words for each of the following consonant digraphs: ch, sh, the, ph, wh, on a separate piece of paper. Then circle the consonant digraph in each word. A consonant digraph can be found at the beginning, middle or end of a word.
Consonant digraph: two consonants put together to make one sound.
Math: Do math assignments on double-digit addition.
P.S. Our class is accepting donations on Lysol, clorox, etc. wipes. Thanks for your support. Mrs. Chavez

Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do two(2) journal entries per week. Practice reading all of the sight words as part of your reading time every night. Sight Word List attached. Students should know how to read them all.
Language: Do assignments on "Nouns" and "Proper Nouns". A noun is a person, place or thing. A Proper Noun is a special name for a person, place or thing.
Math: Do assignments on "Double-digit Subtraction".
P.S. Items for gingerbread house and "Baking" basket are due by Friday, Dec. 9th. Gift and snacks due by Friday, Dec. 16th.
