This week our 6th graders will focus on sentence structure with review of pronouns.

Good evening parents,

We have a busy week upon us. Please remind students to have their library books with them each day in class.

This week 7th graders will continue with Hunger Games reading per group. We will read chapters 12-17. Lots of class time to engage and work on our standards. Our "Mario" characters are beginning to move across our game board. Students should be working hard on how to cite textual evidence, author's purpose, and constructed responses using the RACE writing strategy. Homework sheets will be copied each day in class.

The 6th graders will continue with 5000 Miles to Freedom reading per group. We should finish our novel this week. Students should be working hard on how to cite textual evidence, author's purpose, and constructed responses using the RACE strategy. We will continue working on pronouns.

We now have links for parents and students to practicing for GMAS. Please take the time to do so. Please check out the links page.

Good evening parents, this week students will be working towards their reading and writing goals. I have attached the 7th grade homework.

Students should continue to read Hunger Games as well as their library books.

The 6th graders will continue working on pronoun types and how to identify them. We are also reading 5000 Miles to Freedom.

The 6th grade homework will be on pronouns.

All classes are to continue working on their Literary Projects which are due October 30, 2015. Don't forget to notate your summaries every 10 pages of reading.

Students need to make sure they are turning in assignments on time. I will be available Tuesday this week for students who have signed up for tutoring.

Let's have a good week.
