Greetings, 

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday break.  This week in ELA Patriot News, the students will continue to analyze how a poem's form contribute to its meaning, identify the characteristics of poetry as well as engage in collaborative discussion. There will not be an article assigned this week.  Students will receive homework Wednesday. They will be researching Paul Langan.

This week in ELA Patriot News, the students will be analyzing how a poem's form contribute to its meaning, identifying the characteristics of poetry as well as engaging in collaborative discussion. Also, the students will continue to analyze the article, "Women of NASA to be Immortalized" this week. Students will receive homework Monday and Tuesday.

Greetings, 

This week in ELA Patriot News the students will be writing an informative text to examine a topic as well as convey ideas.  As the week progress, the students will be identifying and analyzing story elements.  At the end of the week, they will complete their weekly article.  This week's article topic is "Women of NASA to be Immortalized." Homework will be given Monday and Tuesday this week.
