This week in ELA Patriot's News, students will continue preparing for the GMAS.  They will be reviewing plot, conflict, characters, and setting as it applies in a text.  After school tutorials are in full effect!  Monday and Tuesday is ELA, and Math is Tuesday and Thursday.  Please continue to allow your student to complete Achieve 3000 at home.  Onward and Upward, it's always a great day to be a Mighty Patriot!

Welcome Back!  I am so excited about conquering the remainder of the school year.  The students will be reviewing for the Pre-GMAS 2 Wednesday.  Therefore, they will be taking the Pre-GMAS 2 Thursday and Friday.  Please continue to allow your student to complete Achieve 3000 at home.  Onward and Upward, it's always a great day to be a Mighty Patriot!

This week in ELA Patriot's News, students will continue to cite textual evidence, determine the central idea of a text, analyze the structure an author uses to analyze a text, and write an informative essay.  Friday, students will learn the true meaning of Christmas via Christmas activities.  Over the Christmas break, students are to complete at least 12 Achieve 3000 articles as well as one Achieve 3000 essay.  Happy holidays!
