Cadets and Parents,
Well - this is it! The end of 2019 and almost the end of the semester. We are half way through Chapter U3L2 and we will finish it the week we return. We will have 2 more summative grades this MP - the U3L2 test (likely on 1/10) and a smaller summative grade presentation (likely on 1/9). I will likely be available for help after school every day that first week back.
For those of you interested in begining preparations for final exams:
Exams are Wed - Fri 1/15-1/17 and are half days. The final exam for Spanish is 2 parts. The written exam is all multiple choice and cummulative (all material covered this year). In addition, their will be a speaking (interview) portion. These will take place in class on Mon/Tue 1/13 adn 1/14. Exam topics and interviequestions are posted in the "Files" section of this school notes page.

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! This week we will be starting Unidad 2, Leccion 2, which continues to build upon the "school life" theme from last chapter. I do not have any meetings at this point after school, so I should be available every day until 3:15 and I will be staying later on Monday/Wednesday.
It's crazy to believe, but the half way point of the Marking Period is Thursday and interim reports go home on Friday. PLEASE reach out if you have concerns ASAP. We do not have much time after the winter break, so please get help NOW if you need it. As a reminder, this semester course ends January 14th (just 7 school days after we return from break!).
Only 3 weeks until the next break - let's make them count!

Cadet & Parents,
This week we will continue working with Conjugating Regular Verbs. Last chapter, we introduced AR verbs and in this mini-unit before the break we will continue working with AR verbs in addition to learning about ER/IR verbs. We will have a summative assessment on Conjugating Regular Verbs (all 3 kinds) on Friday.
I will be available this week after school on Monday and Wednesday for Cadets who need extra practice or have work to make up.

THANK YOU to all of our families with retired/active service members. I hope you enjoyed your Veteran's Day weekend.
This week we have our 1st test of the 2nd MP. This first test covers our U2L1 vocab sheet, using the verb tener, telling time and using regular AR verbs. It is a BIG chapter. I am available EVERYDAY this week after school for any cadet needing extra help.
We will also have a smaller summative test next week before the break that covers all regular verbs (ar/er/ir)
Looking ahead, December 6th (the Friday after Thanksgiving break) is the interim.

Happy Monday and Welcome to MP2!
We are now half way through our course. I am in the process of finishing MP and MTE grades. Grades are due on Thursday and Report Cards will be distributed on Friday. As soon as I have the remaining items graded, they will be posted on HAC.
I will be available this week on Wednesday and Friday afternoon for cadets who need extra help or have work to make up.Next week I should be available any day.
This week we will begin Unidad 2 which focuses on school life. We will have a vocab quiz this Thursday. We will also have our first test of the new MP Friday 11/15.
