Today we released 6 butterflies out in the prayer garden! We said a prayer for them that they would enjoy their life out in nature :).

We continued with Dinosaur activities today.  We did dinosaur puzzles, played with dinosaurs in the sand, and also played a dinosaur matching game.  We started a special "surprise" project today that we will complete on Mon. and Tues.

Breakfast with Moms will be on Wednesday at 8:15 am.  If you haven't already done so, please turn in your RSVP on Monday.

Have a great weekend!

Miss Patty:)

Today we read a book called How Do Dinosaurs Stay Safe? At the tables today we dissolved our dinosaur egg. We did this by using a dropper to drop vinegar onto our egg. We watched it fizz and dissolve until we saw the baby dinosaur inside. We also did a number and writing activity.

We had Chapel today, and Pastor Linda read us a story about when the Disciples asked Jesus many questions. We also sang songs while Mr. Mike played the piano.

Another book we read today was The Birthday Cake, to celebrate Claire's birthday. Happy Birthday Claire! Thank you for the yummy cupcakes!

Have a good day!

This week our theme is Dinosaurs.  It was a great field trip yesterday where we got to see a real dinosaur skeleton and lots of other cool things! The children enjoyed our outing to the Delaware Museum of Natural Sciences.

Today we read a book called Dinosaurs and learned some names of different dinosaurs.  We had dinosaur eggs in the sand, dinosaur coloring, dinosaur 3-D puzzles and a Dinosaur game.  We made dinosaur eggs by mixing baking soda, water, and food coloring.  We formed an egg shape around a small plastic dinosaur.  Tomorrow we will crack our eggs by squeezing drops of vinegar on them. We did a dinosaur bone upper/lowercase letter match.  We also did butterfly observations.  We now have 4 butterflies in our habitat and 2 cocoons.

We had gym class today and had fun playing a parachute game with Miss Maddy.

The children who didn't make dinosaur eggs today will make them tomorrow.

Have a great day!

We had Spanish class today. Miss Vivi went over the shapes with us in Spanish.

We spent lots of time with our baby chicks! We colored a picture of a chick and matched it to one of the chicks in our classroom. We also drew a picture of where we would go if we were a butterfly.

Monday is our field trip to the Delaware Natural History Museum. Please arrive to school on Monday by 8:45. The bus will be leaving at 9am. Also, please have your child where a red shirt, or if you have one, the St. Paul's school shirt.

Thanks and have a good night!
